Visits, Fishing, and Rain On

Yes I know. I'm long over due for my blog post. Lol. Sorry about not posting last week things got a bit hectic. So instead of recapping two whole weeks I'm only recapping the interesting part of the weeks which will actually start out on Thursday!

So this is how Thursday's adventure started out. My hubby and I were invited to and see my grandparents down south. So this is where the adventure began. We were suppose to leave at 2 o'clock but that backfired on us because my hubby needed to fix some paper work from his school and send it in. So he called the school a couple of times and they said they would send him the paper work, by email of course. Anyway he still had to send in the check for his bike lock. So that occurred I had to push back the time we all had to leave so that the hubby could get the paper work. Better yet, it never came in. So with that occurring we left for our little road trip at 4 o'clock. A nice three hour drive with my dad who can't really drive to began with. I do mean that in the most interesting of ways. He even freaked out my husband who couldn't watch the road anymore. So that was a little scary. So it was about 7 o'clock when we got to my grandparents. That went rather well and nice aside from it being hot. Lucky, my grandma always keeps fans because it gets so hot.

So let us sag way into Friday. The day was alright. There was only one small adventure during that trip and that was getting off of work because it was calling it to close to when I had to go into work. That went well and I got to get off that night. But we ended up in another crazed adventure. It involved getting my check and cashing it out. So then we took off to go get my hubby his bike trainer. He also got something else but I don't know what its called. So that was a fun little adventure. Now the night on the other hand was sort of epic depending on the stands of how a person hears. I'm not lying either. My hubby got the papers he need from the school finally. But this is the epic part he need to have them in by Saturday morning since New Mexico is apparently 2 hours behind Florida. So we had already missed the time for Friday and he had forgotten about our fishing trip with my brother, mom, aunt, cousin, uncle, and grandfather on Saturday. So he had told his dad that he would go Saturday to fax it in. The worse part when I reminded him we both got stressed out. Funny if we look back on it now. So we were trying to figure out ways so that my hubby could go with us. Anyway, it was midnight and we were both tired when he told me he would go. I tend to tune people out at night when I'm tired. So I didn't hear my husband except for what I asked him before. If he was going to go and we faxed them at Kinkos or just stay behind. He just shrugged and said I don't now.

So we now sag way into Saturday morning. So I wake up at six to leave. I try to wake my hubby up to tell him bye but he's passed out. So I go over to my mom's we load up the truck and wait for my aunt to arrive with my grandpa, uncle, cousin, and my cousin's boyfriend. Well then we started onto the road and right as we hit Bernillo my husband calls and tells me why I didn't wake him. I didn't know he was going and he probably did tell me the night before. So I started crying. Yes I balled my eyes out. Not really but I did cry a lot because I thought it was my fault but we both figured out it was both of our faults. Anyway it was about a two hour drive from Albq. to get to Pecos and then another 30 minutes on top of it to get half way up the mountain. Worse part, I got car sick going up and that's never happened with me before.

We all found a spot while my brother, cousin, uncle, and her boyfriend went to another spot to go fishing while we all hung out. It was my mom, aunt, grandfather, and I who stayed behind. We had a little potluck thing going on for lunch. I took chips and dip! YAY! XD The funny part came when our trash bag started to get invaded by chipmunks. Yes I said it. Furry little balls of fluff that turn all skinny when they run along the ground looking for food. Not the sex type of chipmunks. Sorry to disappoint you gals out there. Anyway my aunt got into this little habit of throwing food at them and then my mom started. I could tell my grandpa was getting a little frustrated with this because they kept coming closer and closer. So anyway that was hilarous. But the bathrooms were horrid. I wanted to vomit from the smell they gave off inside. I tried to reframe from using the bathroom because it smelt bad even for being an okay port-a-potty. I'm a little OCD when it comes to bathrooms. So with that all far behind us, it started to rain so we packed up and went looking for my brother, other relatives, and my cousin's boyfriend. They found us rather a mile down the hill and we went back up to the site we were at. That was fun even though my brother only caught to fish. So with that all that passed we came home about 6:00PM and I met up with the hubby at the in-laws. We ended up not going to my husband's grandma's house that night. It was nice and I found out that leaving him behind helped him out because he still had to fill out more paperwork for his school. Thank the stars!

Now time for the recap on Monday. This adventure was hilarious for a couple of hours now that I think back on it. Yes the picture above is a clue. My husband and I were moving beds. We were moving my Queen size bed into the in-laws house and taking the single to my parents house. Taking the single was fine. Taking the queen was a totally different story. We had left the house after loading the queen on the truck and my husband wanted to stop at starbucks to use up the last of the gift card my grandparents (mother side) got me from last Christmas. Yay for coffee!!! So we stopped and I even told him maybe we should do the coffee thing later because we saw storm clouds rolling in. No sooner did we get our drinks and started for the door that I notice it raining. He thought it was sprinkling and I already knew it was pouring. We ran to the truck and took off to try and get the beds out the rain. Sadly they were soaks but we got them to dry off. So that was Monday's fun adventure.

Beyond that the rest of the week was quiet as was the majority of this week except that my hubby got sick Sunday night so I didn't get to see my mom. Nor did I see her Monday because we went swimming with his nieces and one of the girls almost lost her ring and my hubby almost lost part of his nose ring. We found both so we lucked out.

But anyway I feel like being a little random now since I was rummaging around across the internet. The paranormal and I, hahahaha. An old love affair never gone bad. Let me hear some of your ghost stories! Lol. I don't mean it to be rude but I've always been facinated in such things like ghosts, cryptozoology, and so on and so forth. Lol Let me hear your guys tales of the paranormal!

Thanks a lot. As for now I'll leave you evilnesses to reply.

As for now
